Leading the Way in Innovative Property Management

Christina Eaglin’s Firsthand Knowledge Transforms Property Management for Maximum Returns.

Experience

Christina Eaglin, President of Lotus Venture Group, based in Silver Spring, MD leads the firm in its Mission to acquire rental properties with an innovative approach. She acquired her first rental property in 1994 and has properties throughout the region and in Arizona.

Trust

Being a property owner puts a whole new perspective on managing short term rentals for other property owners. Eaglin knows firsthand how much goes into acquiring and maintaining a property; you don’t want to put your property into the hands of just anyone claiming to do property management. This is what sets Lotus Venture Group apart from typical short-term rental companies who do not have firsthand knowledge and experience of property ownership.

Life Path

Eaglin started as an Account Executive in media sales, public relations, and marketing. From there she “accidentally” fell into property management due to a friend who pulled out unexpectedly of buying her first property after she had already purchased a second. It was then that the light went off in her head that she could live in her primary residence and generate income from real estate investment properties. Since then, she has never looked back and loves helping people achieve the most income for their properties.

Strategy

Her second epiphany was that the long-term rental game was lucrative, but not anywhere as lucrative as the short-term rental game. As she often says, “you can buy a bottle of water for $2.50 at a convenience store or .35 cents at Costco.” Because of the premium charged for short term stays, many times she can double and even triple most monthly rents. Everyone wins. Property owners make more than they anticipated for their long-term rental, even after paying their management fee. That said, the location, furnishings and ownership of properties must be a good fit. Eaglin personally visits each property to ensure that it will be a true win-win for both the owner and her firm.
